This was mine and Jared's conversation this morning:

Cami: What are you whistling.

Jared: I'm a Child of God

Cami: No you're not, don't lie to me, what are you whistling?

Jared: I'm a Barbie Girl

Cami: That's what I thought.

Who's Montey?

So, Everybody has been asking me, Who is Montey in "Jared, Cami, and Montey too....?"

K, so nobody has asked me who Montey is... I just don't really have anything to blog about and I really like Montey, so I just wanted to talk about him. He's my dog :)

The Story of Montey: This Summer we went on a cruise and when we got home, I had all this money left over that I thought I would spend... So I wondered what to do with it? And I thought, why not get a dog? So I began frequenting the Ogden City Animal Shelter looking for the perfect dog for me. After going to lunch with some friends one day, I said, hey could we stop at the shelter really fast so I can look at the dogs. I think they thought it was a little strange to stop at the shelter since we were just getting together for lunch, but guess who I found? Montey :) His full name is Little Montey, named after C. Montgomery Burns. The lady at the shelter said, he seemed like a good dog, but they had washed him and they just couldn't figure out why he still smelled so bad. But he's okay now :) I posted pictures of him so you can all see how cute he is!!

This is Montey and my family in Park Valley riding in the back of a pick-up. He had just gotten his haircut.

This is after he got fixed and had to wear a cone on his head for a few weeks so he wouldn't eat the stitches. It was really funny to watch him try to eat out of his bowl..

This is me and Montey at my Birthday party. I grew his hair out for the winter, I think he kind of looks like a teddy bear.

Here's Montey just hanging out...

And, this is Jared and Montey plowing snow.

Update

So, what's new with us? Well, a few things. I'm happy to announce I finally got a social work job.... it's either feast or famine... I actually got two new jobs... and kept my job at the Olive Garden. The first one is at Farmington Bay Youth Center, It's a state owned Juvenile Detention Center. So far all I have done is a lot of training, most of it in self-defense. For our final test, we had to pin down this 250+ lb Polynesian guy.... It was pretty crazy and I got an elbow to the face, but I'm happy to announce I passed! Yeah! When I got home, I told Jared and he thought he would try out his moves on me. He got ahold of my arm and thought I wouldn't be able to get loose...and I couldn't.. so I hit him in the nose... He let go of me so fast and there were tears in his eyes.... He wasn't very happy with me..

And, for the big news, I got a social work position at McKay Dee Hospital. Yay! I'm way excited. This is the job I wanted most of all. I am gonig to work there as much as possible and then just work on-call at Farmington Bay and one night a week at the Olive Garden.

Me and Jared have been having lots of fun lately, I posted pictures below of our recent trip to St. George. I think that's everything for now. Later...

St. George

For Jared's Spring Break we went to St. George and hung out in the warmth.
It was way fun to get away.
( PS..I don't really like to write a lot of stuff and we all just want to look at pictures anyways....)

We spent a day in Zions National Park, Neither of us had ever been there before. It was really neat. My favorite part was the huge tunnel we drove through. Jared tried to hold his breath through the whole thing, but it was over a mile long... so he didn't really make it.

This was the waterfall at the end of one of the hikes we went on.
It was a fun trip we did a lot, and also found about three hours a day
to play the wii. Definitely my kind of vacation.
