The House

A little update on what's been going on lately. A ton! I feel like I've been working in a psych hospital instead of a nursing home. Things have been pretty crazy lately, but I guess it keeps life interesting. It worries me a little that nothing shocks me anymore. It's scary the things I'm used to. I've just been working a ton between the hospital and nursing home. Jared just started school again and has been working a lot on the house. We're finally moved in! We're still living in a bit of a construction zone but it's nice to be out on our own.

There are a few things we miss about living with Jared's mom's. Food, Disney channel, internet, washer and dryer, couches, dishwasher... just to name a few. But, I'm enjoying myself tonight. Jared is the new scoutmaster, so while he's away on a campout, I'm spending the night at Terry's, using the internet, and watching Disney. Hopefully everything will settle down soon and we'll start to be less crazy. I've finally posted some pictures of the house. These were taken during construction so these are the before pictures I'll post the after pictures once we're all unpacked. Lata
This is the side, all the front on pictures made it look so grandma house....

This is the studio out-back.. Jared's grandpa said we should rent it out.. Living in Ogden, I don't think that should be too hard.

This is the back view of the house...

Another view of the side..

This is the original fridge from the 40's or 50's still being used. this picture is not sideways.. the fridge was built in like a cupboard and opened into these three compartments...

This is what was underneath the carpet in the hall... brick patterned linoleum...Definitely loved it,wanted to keep it but Jared refused...whatever, you just can't find quality like this anymore...

This is what the original hardwood floors looked like once we got all the linoleum peeled off...

And, last of all, the kitchen! TaDa!
Renovation pictures coming soon....
